Ayyaantuu - Dec 12, 2008 - The OFDR believes that all Oromo organizations namely the Oromo Liberation Front (the three groups who use the name of OLF), Front for Independent Democratic Oromia (FIDO), United Oromo Peoples Liberation Front (UOPLF), Front for Independence of Oromia (FIO) and Council for Oromia Peoples Liberation Front (COPLF) have the interest of liberating the Oromo people in their hearts but individually lack the strategy, strength and image to mobilize the Oromo people for this task.
