Ababiya: Oromo questions get adequate answer
Ababiya Abajobir (the Prince of Jimma) weighs in on the state of the Oromo struggle: peaceful means is the only option to move forward the cause.
WaltaInfo/Ayyaantuu - Dec 6, 2008 - The questions of the Oromo people, which the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) claims to struggle for, are getting adequate response, former member of OLF leadership said.

He also said that armed struggle is no more an effective option in the present world that gives precedence for peace and democracy. Ababiya Abajobir, who was a founding-member of the OLF and served at various positions in the organization, told WIC that the age-long questions of the Oromo people are now getting appropriate answer.
Ababiya, who served as Head of OLF's Foreign Affairs in Washington from 2000 to 2003, resigned form his position in 2003 to join the peaceful direction as he recognized the political reality in today's world.
Ababiya, who came to Ethiopia some two and half months ago, expressed his satisfaction and deep excitement over what he saw in various parts of Oromia State. Read More.
